Welcoming you all to another dance at Bar Neun in Berlin – this time inviting a truely well-rounded musician & selector with some of the deepest crates of Brazilian & worldwide wax to join us. Mauricio Fleury is no stranger to SHUSH, having spun at our functions before and also having played keys and flute at our gathering last fall alongside Cassie Kinoshi. Having been brought up in the Sao Paulo music scene, he’s led the horn-driven powerhouse ensemble Bixiga 70, as well as worked with some giants of Brazilian music, including Marcos Valle, Gal Costa and Joao Donato – the latter having an especially profound influence on him.
Last December, he’s released his debut album 'Revoada‘, showcasing his deep musicianship. But, as Mauricio has said before, DJing is where his musical pursuit has begun and still begins, and you can expect to hear some true gems… This man’s been digging for a long time.
Alongside him, SHUSH residents Ken Okuda & Orlando Rosé will keep things moving behind the decks, tapping into the deep and the soulful, the quantized and the unquantized spectrum of sounds.

After building a relationship now running for 3 years, it feels like the right time to join forces as we take over newly refurbished Club Cheek fka Loki. A wonderful , intimate space located in Brixton with a wicked soundsystem.
We welcome DJ/Producer, Meftah, Detroit Native and honorary member of Sound Signature Records(Theo Parrish). Meftah is in an incredibly talented selector who has a knack for drawing out the most unique records that most certainly send the vibrations to the highest levels.
Gayance - Canadian Born, lisbon based DJ/Producer. Gayance is a name well known on the circuit at this point. She plays with such vigor and poise and never sticks to just one sound. Expect to be taken on a journey.
Joey Manzi - Elevation main man Joseph is fresh from hosting his last party, where he welcomed guests such as Konny Kon /Tone & Tom Manzarek . A truly magical night. This energy will now be brought forward to this new space. Guaranteed to be two stepping when he gets in his zone.
Ken Okuda & Orlando Rose - Honorary Members of the SHUSH family alongside D'Monk. Depth, Intention and Rhythm are three words that help encapsulate how they approach music.

Berlin-based dance night and sound system SHUSH present their first musical offering: six soulful tracks that encapsulate the unique spirit of their functions and underlying community. Atlanta house ambassador Stefan Ringer lends his touch on deep vocal cut ‘Focus’, electronic jazz maestro Ziggy Zeitgeist serves up the late-night coaster ‘Yours To Make’ (feat. Jitwam), whilst SHUSH’s own D’Monk deals the dubbed-out damage of ‘Love Or Lust’, a raw house cut heavy on the 909s. Alongside them, producer Whodat offers a slapper in her own distinctive Detroit-style, AMA//MIZU comes with an introspective downbeat roller whilst Dweller presents one of his stunning orchestral works.
Spread across two sides of a 12”, these bold selections translate their feeling both on and off the dancefloor.
